My First Coding Robot
Play, Imagine, Create
Designed to introduces early learners to basic coding concepts through unplugged programming the Magkinder Labeeb Kit provides endless opportunities for the early learner to explore the coding world with their own coding robot, Labeeb
Problem Solver Today, Code Writer Tomorrow
The Magkinder Labeeb Kit, uses construction and block play, to encourage learners to use their imagination, creativity, and curiosity to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive ‘play’ activities with the Labeeb Bot.
The program introduces the early learner to the basics of coding through hands on activities that are easy and student friendly.
Our future in the 5th Industrial Revolution will be reliant on advanced technology and human intelligence. Fostering these skills at an early stage will only benefit today’s learners preparing them to participate in future challenges. With computers in everyday use and coding being the language used to communicate with them, it is essential the early learner develops these coding skills through programs that encourage learning as part of play in simple, colourful and easy steps.
When the learner programs the Labeeb bot using the remote programmer, they are engaging in a basic form of coding.
The Labeeb bot supports coding and logic development expanding the learners understanding of robotics, beginning with the very basics of sequence programming, and progressing to more advanced concepts. The Magkinder Labeeb strategy focuses on exploration and experimentation, so students can have fun while learning.
The interactive activities teach the learner basic colours and shapes while presenting simple problems to encourage decision making progressing from simple to more complex.
The Labeeb Bot can be programmed to follow a line and detect obstacles; it is also compatible with all of the magnetic blocks.
The 151-piece kit is suitable for learners 3+ and consists of basic 2D mathematical figures, parts for creating imaginative structures and the Labeeb coding robot.
The blocks are easy and simple to join making it easy for the young learner to engage and construct shapes. The kit is ready to use straight from the box, you just need to add batteries.
Available separately from the Magkinder Labeeb Kit are the Labeeb Mats that let the young learner take Labeeb on challenging adventures in different locations where they have to use their programming skills for Labeeb to move.
